Some Thoughts on Other
Religions
The purpose of this section is to invoke thought. Prior to accepting Islam I was of the opinion that all religions were one, in that they all were separate paths to Allah, the
Exalted, the Wise. However, there was always a glaring contradiction in this belief. That is, how can all of these paths be from Allah and lead to Allah if each one of them states that it is the only correct way?
Islam corrected my misunderstanding. The Islamic teaching is that these religions find their origin in Allah, but have since been corrupted. The point of this section is to utilize the unadulterated Revelation, the Qur'an, as the Furqan or Criterion. The point is to invoke thought. Open your mind and open your heart.
